Thank you all for waiting patiently(or maybe not so) for my Sweet Sicilian Pasta Sauce to make it's way to the market place.
If you haven't tried it already, get ready for a deliciously sweet and rich tomato sauce that has only the "good stuff" in it like garlic,wine, basil, olive oil, garlic...did I say garlic?? And...this may or may not surprise you, but I do NOT like oregano...and most of my Italian family and friends don't like it either...so, sorry oregano fans...you won't find ANY in my sauce!
You won't have to add anything either...unless of course you wanna add some veggies, meat, pasta...but otherwise "no tweaking required!" Makes a great dipping sauce for some St. Louis toasted ravioli, incredible pizza sauce, and the best chicken parmesan you can make(and eat). Also very complimentary with a nice salsiccia(sa zee za) or homeade meatballs, or both.
